✨2026 NMJL Card Launch Party ✨
Join us Thursday, April 30 | 5–9 PM at The Tanglewood House as we celebrate the launch of the 2026 NMJL card!
We’ll break down the new card, discover fresh (and tricky!) lines, and learn how to pivot your strategy for the new year. Instruction will be led by Mahj Besties , Elizabeth Darke, and Jen Brower, followed by guided play on the new card with help from our teachers.
Your $40 ticket includes:

Wine & cocktails will be available for purchase.
We’ll also have a live artist at the event hand-painting mahjong card folios! Hand-painted folios are an additional cost paid directly to the artist. Guests are welcome to bring their own folio, purchase one ahead of time from Mildred & Mables, or buy one at the event while supplies last.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another individual. It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to arrange any ticket transfer.

Come play mahjong with us! We are offering 2 events:
Mahjong 101: Learn the basic of Mahjong in this 2 hour crash course (normally 2.5 hours) then stay for our open play event to put into practice everything you just learned! $50 per person, spot is not reserved until your invoice is paid. Everyone who signs up for 101 gets to stay for open play for free!
Open Play: If you have played before or have already been to a Mahjong class or lesson (with us or anyone) this is for you! We will have all the sets set up, and this is a great way to meet and play with other Mahjong lovers! Open play is $15, spot is not reserved until your invoice is paid.
Snacks will be served between events!
