Mahj Besties and Mildred & Mables have teamed up to create an unforgettable two-day retreat filled with mahjong, laughter, delicious food, shopping, and plenty of special surprises before the busy back-to-school season begins.
Your retreat experience includes:

Retreat Schedule
Friday | 5:00 PM
Kick off the weekend with our Bird Bam in Pajamas Mahjong Party! Slip into your favorite comfy pajamas and enjoy an evening of charcuterie, cocktails, great company, and mahjong as we settle in for a weekend of fun.
Saturday
Spend the day playing mahjong, enjoying fantastic food, shopping, participating in special activities, and making memories with fellow mahjong lovers. The retreat concludes at 4:00 PM.
Stay the Night!
Want to make it a true getaway? Tanglewood House offers beautiful onsite cabins that can be reserved separately for Friday night, allowing you to relax and enjoy the full retreat experience without having to drive home.
Cabins may be booked directly through the Tanglewood House.

Whether you're coming with your regular mahjong crew or joining us solo to meet new friends, this retreat is the perfect way to recharge, sharpen your game, and celebrate the joy of mahjong before fall begins.

All ticket sales are final and are non-refundable.
Tickets may be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend. Please notify the event organizer of the transfer prior to the event.

Come play mahjong with us! We are offering 2 events:
Mahjong 101: Learn the basic of Mahjong in this 2 hour crash course (normally 2.5 hours) then stay for our open play event to put into practice everything you just learned! $50 per person, spot is not reserved until your invoice is paid. Everyone who signs up for 101 gets to stay for open play for free!
Open Play: If you have played before or have already been to a Mahjong class or lesson (with us or anyone) this is for you! We will have all the sets set up, and this is a great way to meet and play with other Mahjong lovers! Open play is $15, spot is not reserved until your invoice is paid.
Snacks will be served between events!
